Mission accomplished

One of my favorite things about developing long-term
relationships with clients is getting to see how the design we accomplished
together, endures over time. Just recently I received a call and went to
look at a bath remodel in Milwaukee.
He was concerned about a minor issue, I was glad to have the opportunity
to solve the concern and see how things where progressing. It turns out the tub has enhanced his
bathing experience, raising the counter height has improved his back fitness,
and the overall sophistication of the bath has created a new feeling of
self-care. Mission accomplished! Soon I will be returning for
professional photos, until then…

Balnace
Balance in design equals proportion, Agreeable
or harmonious relation of parts within a whole; balance or symmetry.
This is what I know, within each style the balance shifts always moving with in each culture from the macrocosm to the microcosm and back. Our esthetics are shaped by when we are born, the culture we are born into and the exposure we have to the arts, education and travel, to name a few influences. Victorian and contemporary are on opposite sides of style on many levels. I find great pleasure in helping clients to create and find their own balance and go forward with confidence and the awareness of what works for them individually and within their partnerships and family needs.

Quince
This spring I planted a Quince tree! For those of you who have planted fruit
trees know that the first year, no fruit is expected. Well at least not by me, imagine my
surprise when I had these lovely blossoms and now, Quince are on my counter-top
awaiting. I am excited to share
these luscious gems with friends and family!
Design like gardening is about growing sustaining vision. Even the most planned space are best
with great surprises.
Whether an entry, a room, or the entire home I will create that look for
you. Contact me for available
times and pricing.
